How Marathi is written
Marathi is spoken in Maharashtra, India.
Marathi is written in Devanagari, which Marathi calls Balbodh, with letters Hindi doesn’t use, such as the retroflex l. Because Hindi shares the script, a short Marathi text can be taken for Hindi.
