Honest about the network
Book2Speech streams narration and generates it ahead of where you are, so it needs a connection while you listen. Narration you have already played replays from the cache. If your route has long dead zones, an underground line for example, start a chapter above ground and it will keep going for a while, but this is not an offline audiobook player.

Questions people ask
Does it work with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?
The iPhone app plays through the car like any audio app via Bluetooth, with play, pause and skip from the car controls. There is no dedicated CarPlay screen yet.
How much does a commute cost in narration?
A 40-minute commute each way is about 6 to 7 hours a week. The Premium plan covers 15 hours of new narration a month; replaying chapters you have already heard is free.
Can I listen offline?
Not yet. Narration streams over the network; previously played audio replays from the cache.
