How Mingrelian is written
Mingrelian is spoken in Samegrelo, in western Georgia.
Mingrelian is a Kartvelian language related to Georgian but not mutually intelligible with it. It is written in the Georgian script with a few extra letters, so a Mingrelian book can open as Georgian.
