How Welsh is written
Welsh is spoken in Wales. Books in Welsh use the Latin alphabet.
Welsh spelling is regular but its own: dd, ff, ll, ch, rh and th each count as one letter, w and y are vowels, and first letters change after certain words, so cath (cat) becomes ei gath (his cat).
