For readers with dyslexia

Read with your ears and your eyes

Hear the book in a natural voice while every word lights up as it is spoken. Drop the novel, the textbook chapter or the PDF from work, and read it your way.

See it and hear it at once

Read-along highlighting follows the narrator word by word, so your eyes always know where you are. In a PDF, the words light up right on the page, layout and all: the same page your class or your colleagues are looking at.
Lost the line? Look back, find the highlight, and you are in again.

Questions people ask

Is it free?

Free includes unlimited Standard voices in English and 10 minutes of Premium voices, so English books cost nothing to listen to.

Does it work with school PDFs?

Yes, when the PDF has a text layer, as PDFs made on a computer do. A scan that is only images has no words to read; many scanner apps add the text for you.

Can I use it on my phone and my laptop?

Yes. Listen in any browser, on iPhone and iPad, and in the Mac app; your place and bookmarks follow you. The Android app is coming soon, and the website works in Android browsers.

Will it read my Kindle books?

DRM-free files, yes. Store purchases locked with DRM open only in the store’s own app.
