How Catalan is written
Catalan is spoken in Catalonia, Valencia, the Balearic Islands and Andorra. Books in Catalan use the Latin alphabet.
Catalan spelling has the middle dot of l·l, as in col·lecció, the ç, and both grave and acute accents. Valencian is the same language with its own spelling choices: choose Catalan for Valencian books too.
